Job Description

The Director of HR & Finance holds full ownership of both financial control and people operations, ensuring the business runs efficiently and scales sustainably. This role directly impacts profitability, workforce strategy, and operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Finance & Accounting operations, team activities, and resource planning while driving operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support company objectives.
  • Conduct financial analysis, variance reviews, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage relationships with investors, banking partners, and third‑party stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee HR strategy, talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with employment law, internal policies, and statutory regulations.
  • Drive HR transformation, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a lean team, fostering accountability and professional development.
  • Oversee financial reporting, audits, permits, and governance compliance.
  • Resolve high‑impact issues affecting service delivery or client satisfaction, implementing corrective measures.

Qualifications

  • OBachelor’s/Master’s degree in AccountingFinanceBusiness AdministrationAudit, or equivalent.
  • Certified CPACMA, or MBA preferred.
  • 8–10 years of combined experience handling Finance and HR functions, ideally in small or startup environments.
  • Proven end‑to‑end ownership of finance operations including budgetingcashflow management, and financial reporting.
  • Strong hands‑on experience managing HR functionsrecruitmentpayrollcompliance, and employee lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of BIR and SEC requirements.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role with business process orientation.
  • Professional maturity in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Significant leadership experience in service quality and risk management initiatives.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Skilled in financial modeling, data analysis, and project management.
  • Strong data fluency, profitability analysis, and forecasting.
  • Ability to streamline functions, work independently in a lean environment, and support global/remote teams.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and interpersonal skills.
