About the Role
The BD CRM & Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for managing lead generation activities and maintaining CRM data accuracy to support the Business Development team. This role involves prospect research, pipeline tracking, and preparing reports that drive growth and improve conversion performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospect Research
- Research and identify potential clients based on target markets and business priorities.
- Build and maintain lead lists with complete company and contact details.
- Support the BD team in identifying decision‑makers and qualified prospects.
- Validate and upload leads into CRM, ensuring accuracy and organization.
- Segment leads by industry, company size, location, and service need.
CRM Management & Data Accuracy
- Maintain and update CRM records, ensuring proper tagging and follow‑up tracking.
- Monitor BD activities and ensure all interactions are logged.
- Clean duplicate or outdated records and improve CRM workflows.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company data policies.
Lead Tracking & Pipeline Monitoring
- Track lead movement from prospecting to closed status.
- Monitor conversion rates and identify follow‑up gaps.
- Coordinate with SDRs and BD Leads to ensure timely lead action.
- Provide visibility on aging leads and pending follow‑ups.
Reporting & Dashboard Preparation
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on lead generation and CRM activity.
- Track key BD metrics: leads generated, qualified, meetings booked, proposals sent, and closed deals.
- Provide insights on lead quality, response rate, and conversion performance.
- Create dashboards using Google Sheets, Excel, or CRM tools.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of proven experience in lead generation, CRM management, sales support, business development support, or data reporting.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, ClickUp, Salesforce, Zoho, or Pipedrive.
- Background in B2B lead generation, prospect research, database management, or outbound sales support preferred.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and other lead sourcing tools is an advantage.
- Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and dashboard/report preparation.
- Strong understanding of lead stages, sales pipeline, MQL/SQL, meeting booking, proposal tracking, and conversion reporting.
- Able to work onsite and collaborate closely with the BD team in a fast‑paced environment.
