We are seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our Operations team. The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely verification of patient insurance benefits by managing the end-to-end Verification of Benefits (VOB) process. The Benefits Specialist will play a critical role in supporting healthcare operations by delivering reliable insurance information, maintaining compliance, and meeting strict service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to verify patient benefits and eligibility.
- Accurately document verification results and update records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate processing of benefit information.
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Accept and respond constructively to feedback to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Work cohesively with the team and communicate availability for task assignments.
Qualifications
Required:
- High proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Previous experience in a call center environment, specifically with medical benefits verification.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Familiarity with medical terminology and benefits verification processes.
- Experience in data entry or documentation roles.
