We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Entry Specialist to join our compliance and fraud monitoring team. This role is critical in supporting Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Fraud Monitoring operations by accurately recording, reviewing, and validating transactional information related to suspicious activity. The specialist will ensure precise documentation, proper escalation, and compliance with financial regulatory standards.
Job Description
- Enter, review, and validate transactional data flagged for suspicious activity.
- Analyze customer profiles and transaction records to identify risk indicators.
- Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance portals and Excel tracking sheets.
- Ensure all entries are complete, consistent, and aligned with compliance guidelines.
- Identify discrepancies and escalate findings to the Compliance or AML Review team.
- Support documentation for Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) / Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- Handle confidential customer data securely in line with company and regulatory policies.
- Track case status and follow-up requirements in internal monitoring systems.
- Participate in compliance audits and data review activities.
- Meet deadlines and productivity standards while maintaining high accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in Data Entry, Compliance, Banking Operations, or Financial Services.
- Familiarity with AML, fraud monitoring, or KYC processes is a strong advantage.
