Job Description
To support healthcare operations by managing communication, documentation, and patient visit tracking. The Case Manager ensures timely updates, accurate records, and professional interaction with clinicians, patients, and care teams.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare or administrative field preferred
Experience
- Minimum 1 year in data entry, medical transcription, or administrative support (healthcare/BPO setting preferred)
- Familiarity with medical documentation or physical therapy workflows is an advantage
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data privacy practices
- Proficiency with cloud platforms, EHR/EMR systems, and document management tools
- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM with 98% accuracy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Analytical thinking to flag anomalies in documentation
- Ability to thrive in fast‑paced, volume‑driven environments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing processes and client requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage email communication and respond professionally on behalf of the organization
- Request, upload, and track clinician documents
- Ensure patient visits are completed or scheduled
- Provide timely patient status updates
- Maintain accurate documentation and visit records
- Communicate courteously with patients, clinicians, and care team
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Accuracy and timeliness of patient visit tracking
- Quality and completeness of uploaded clinician documents
- Responsiveness and professionalism in email communication
- Compliance with HIPAA and data privacy standards
- Consistency in maintaining records and reporting updates
